Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Marcus Rashford from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. Rashford is on loan at Aston Villa until the end of the season, having joined Unai Emery’s side in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Tottenham are looking at Rashford as a potential replacement for Son Heung-min. Villa have the option to make the England international forward’s loan deal permanent for £40 million. Spurs, though, are keeping tabs on the 27-year-old, who has scored two goals and given two assists in 10 Premier League matches and has provided two assists in four UEFA Champions League games for Villa.
Football Transfers has noted that Tottenham wanted to sign Rashford from Man Utd in the January transfer window, but Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou pushed the North London outfit to sign Mathys Tel on loan from Bayern Munich instead.
