Tottenham Hotspur interested in Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in re-sign signing Kyle Walker-Peters from Southampton in the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT. The report has claimed that the former Tottenham right-back is pushing for a move away from St. Mary’s Stadium in the middle of the season and is stalling on signing a new contract.

Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal are the two right-back options for Tottenham at the moment. Neither has particularly well in head coach Antonio Conte’s system, and there is speculation that Spurs want to reinforce that particular area in the January transfer window.

Walker-Peters has made 14 appearances in the Premier League for Southampton so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The 25-year-old has also made one substitute appearance in the FA Cup and has played twice in the Carabao Cup for the Saints so far this campaign. Southampton are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from 18 matches.
