Tottenham Hotspur linked with Lazio’s Manuel Lazzari

New Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte could make a move for Lazio defender Manuel Lazzari, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Conte was appointed as the new Tottenham boss only today, and there is already speculation which players the former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss wants to bring to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Conte reportedly wants to bring Stefan de Vrij from his former club Inter, but the Netherlands international central defender has a contract until the summer of 2023. So, Lazio’s Lazzari is another option for the Italian tactician, according to the report.

Lazzari joined Lazio in 2019 and has played twice for the Italy national football team. The 27-year-old can operate as a right-sided midfielder or as a right-back. The Italian has made four starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
