Tottenham Hotspur do not want to bring Christian Eriksen back from Inter Milan, according to ESPN. It has been reported that Inter were optimistic of offering the Denmark international attacking midfielder back to Spurs, but neither the player nor the North London club are particularly keen on a reunion.
Spurs are disappointed by the way the 28-year-old left the club for Italian giants Inter in January 2020, according to the report. The attacking midfielder has failed to adapt to manager Antonio Conte’s tactics and system at the Nerazzurri and is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
According to WhoScored, Eriksen has made three starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A matches and has played 90 minutes in the Champions League for Inter so far this season. During the second half of the 2020-21 campaign, the Dane made eight starts and nine substitute appearances in the league for the Italian club, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
