Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Anthony Gordon from Premier League rivals Everton in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Tottenham wanted to sign Gordon in the summer transfer window and remain keen on securing the services of the winger.
Spurs have reportedly already made enquiries about signing Gordon and could make a bid for the English winger in January. Everton reported turned down approaches from Spurs and Chelsea in the summer of 2022 and will want at least £60 million for the English youngster.
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and could do with a young and dynamic winger such as Gordon. However, Everton are unlikely to sell Gordon in the middle of the season, especially as there is a danger that they could get sucked into a relegation battle.
