Two teams that will be looking to carry on their immaculate run of form, on Sunday afternoon Austria will welcome Brazil to the Ernst-Happel-Stadion.

For Franco Foda’s Austria side, despite only managing to secure fourth spot in qualifying, The Reds appear to be a side going through somewhat of a renaissance. Coming off the back of an eye-catching 2-1 win over neighbours and defending World Cup Champions Germany, Austria have now remarkably won their last seven matches on the bounce and have collected the scalps of Urgaury and Serbia. It has been defensively where the hosts have really begun to receive some plaudits, along with scoring 10 in their last four, Austria have now kept a clean sheet in three of their last four and Sunday will be a battle of two very good defenses.

As for Tite’s Brazil side, The Yellows will arguably be traveling to Russia as one of the leading favorites and will be glad to see that talisman and captain Neymar has fully recovered from a foot injury. After scoring in their 2-0 win against Croatia at Anfield last week, like their hosts on Sunday, Brazil are now unbeaten in their last 10 and have also won their last three on the bounce. It is also their own defensive record that has caught the eye, Tite’s side have not conceded a single goal in their last four international friendlies and only conceded 11 goals in their 18 qualifying matches.
