United to sell Pogba to raise funds for transfer targets

Manchester United have decided to sell Paul Pogba amid strong interest from Real Madrid and Juventus, according to the Mirror.

The impact the France international has had at Old Trafford has fallen short of expectations put on him by his world-record move from Juventus in 2016, and he’s been constantly linked with a move away. Last summer, he publicly stated that it was ‘every player’s dream’ to play for Real Madrid’, and though they resisted for a while, it seems United have finally decided that the funds tied down by Pogba being there could be put to better use.

Juventus and Real both consider swooping in after the European championship this year, but United want a deal thrashed out before the tournament in order to plan for their own incoming transfers. They will demand at least £83 million for his services and immediately put the money towards their interest in the likes of James Maddison, Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and Eic Dier.
