West Ham confident of signing Said Benrahma this week

West Ham United are confident of signing Said Benrahma from Brentford before the summer transfer window in England closes on Friday, according to The Guardian. It has been reported that a medical has been scheduled for the Algeria international on Wednesday, and that the Hammers are confident that a deal will still go through despite complications.

The Guardian has reported that there is a problem between Benrahma and Brentford, which is why a potential move to West Ham has stalled over the past 24 hours. The Premier League club have agreed to pay the Bees an initial transfer fee of £25 million plus £5 million in add-ons.

Benrahma scored 17 goals and provided four assists in the Championship for Brentford last season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, the winger scored 10 goals and provided 14 assists in the league, according to WhoScored.
