West Ham United are interested in signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the summer of 2023, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Hammers will need to sign a new striker for next season and beyond, and that they think that Toney fits the bill.
Toney has been superb for Brentford over the years, both in the Championship and in the Premier League. The 26-year-old English striker has scored six goals and provided two assists in nine Premier League appearances for the Bees so far this season. In 2020-21, the striker scored 12 goals and provided five assists in the league.
West Ham are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from nine matches, four points above the bottom three. Meanwhile, Brentford currently find themselves 11th in the league table with 10 points from nine games.
