Wolves go after Sanches signing

Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Renato Sanches from Lille as the drama of deadline day continues.

Sanches, who is currently out through injury, could serve as the biggest signing of the summer transfer window for a Wolves side who are desperate to fight back after starting the new Premier League season off with three straight defeats. The loan move would open up the door for some rumours about Ruben Neves potentially leaving before the day is up but with Morgan Gibbs-White reportedly being on his way out to Sheffield United, that may not be the case.

Bruno Lage wants to push forward with some attacking, high press football in an attempt to help Wolves surge up the league table and if he’s able to lure Sanches to the Black Country, we’re confident in saying the club will have one of the most interesting midfield partnerships in the league – provided Neves stays.
