Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Le Mans goalkeeper Yohann Pele, according to the player’s agent. “There are a few other clubs interested in signing him, not just Tottenham and Portsmouth, but there is nothing concrete yet,” he was quoted.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has made no secret of his plans to sign a shot-stopper, while reports in Sunday’s press suggest Pompey’s current No.1, David James, could join Newcastle United.
