Arsenal are interested in signing Christian Norgaard from London and Premier League rivals Brentford in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that the Gunners have made a bid of €11million (£9.3m) for Norgaard and are waiting for a response from Brentford.
It seems that Arsenal are looking at Norgaard as a potential replacement for Thomas Partey. The former Atletico Madrid midfielder is out of contract at the North London club at the end of the month, and no deal is in place between the Gunners and the star.
Norgaard has been on the books of Brentford since 2019 when he joined from Fiorentina. The Denmark international midfielder has developed into one of the best players in the Premier League and is under contract at the Bees until the summer of 2027. Norgaard has scored 13 goals and given 18 assists in 196 appearances for Brentford so far in his career.
