Arsenal have made a bid to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Sport. The report has claimed that the Gunners, who are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, have offered €60 million for the Brazil international winger.
The North London club are said to ‘consider Rodrygo a key player for their immediate project’. With Arsenal determined to become the champions of England for the first time since 2004 and also looking to win the UEFA Champions League, manager Mikel Arteta believes that the 24-year-old would enhance his side’s chances of being successful this season.
However, Arsenal are not the only club that have made a bid for Rodrygo. Saudi Pro League oufit Al-Hilal, too, are said to have offered €60m for Rodrygo and are also ‘offering a significantly higher salary, something the player’s representatives are carefully considering’. It depends to be seen if Madrid are willing to sell Rodrygo midway through the season.
