Barcelona are actively trying to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that Barcelona Sporting Director Deco met with Rashford’s agent in Barcelona this week ‘to seriously explore the possibilities of his incorporation’.
Rashford spent the second half of this season on loan at Aston Villa from Man United. The 27-year-old England international forward scored four goals and gave six assists in 17 appearances in the Premier League for the Villans.
The forward wanted to join Barcelona in the January transfer window, but the La Liga club could not meet the financial requirements to get a deal done. Rashford is still keen on a move to Barcelona, whose dream target is Liverpool winger Luis Diaz. However, the Spanish champions are aware that getting the Colombia international out of the Premier League champions will not be easy, and a deal for Rashford is more feasible.
