Dani Olmo has emerged as a major doubt for Barcelona’s Clasico meeting with Real Madrid on October 26 due to injury.
Olmo withdrew from Spain’s squad last week with a calf injury, missing the win over Georgia as he returned to Barcelona for tests.
The club confirmed on Monday that he had suffered a muscle injury, though they did not say how long he would be sidelined for.
However, Spanish media reports Olmo could be out for two to three weeks, which could see him miss the LaLiga clashes against Girona, Madrid and Elche, as well as their Champions League meeting with Olympiacos.
Olmo, who has made 10 appearances for Barcelona so far this season, also missed 20 matches in 2024-25 due to various fitness issues.
