Benjamin Sesko open to Newcastle United transfer

Newcastle United are interested in signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Lepzig in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The Magpies, who won the Carabao Cup last season, are looking at a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, who is on the radar of Liverpool, and have identified Sesko as a top target.

TBR has reported that Newcastle, who will play in the Champions League next season after finishing in the top five of the Premier League table in the 2024-25 campaign, are in talks over Sesko, who himself is interested in a move to St. James’ Park.

RB Leipzig want £70million for Sesko, and Newcastle are ready to pay that fee to secure the services of the 22-year-old Slovenia international striker. Manchester United are also reported to be interested in the youngster, but the Red Devils will have no European football whatsoever next season.
