Two camps who find themselves scrapping it out at the foot of the Primera Nacional table, Alvarado will host local rivals Colegiales on Sunday night.

Starting with the hosts, enduring what has been a real crisis since opening up the 2025 campaign, Alvarado find themselves pencilled in as a standout relegation contender this season. Last seen putting in another toothless performance as they slumped to a 1-0 loss away at Los Andes, Manuel Fernandez’s men have put just 13 points on the board from any of their first 17 appearances and they get Sunday’s showdown underway sat in the drop zone. Getting June underway with a routine 2-0 defeat at home against Arsenal Sarandi, Toito have failed to win any of their previous five Primera Nacional appearances (four defeats, one draw). Desperately seeking an essential boost this weekend, Alvarado have gained a reputation for their glaring issues in the final third.
