Getting the midweek fixtures underway knowing that they could skyrocket their way to the National League table, Hartlepool have also gained a reputation for their defensive steel. Including back-to-back 2-0 wins against Altrincham and Braintree last month, Grayson’s play-off contenders have conceded just a single strike in their first six National League showdowns. It should also be highlighted, the Pools are unbeaten at Victoria Park across all competitions since the start of March.

As for the visitors, although Boston might have shocked many last season as they eventually clung to their National League status, the Pilgrims could be set for another relegation scrap this time around.
