Competition: Copa do Brasil

Market: Internacional draw no bet

Odds: 3/5 @ 1xBet

Two camps who will turn their attention back to Copa do Brasil duties in the early hours of Thursday, Internacional will welcome Fluminense to Porto Alegre.

Starting with the hosts, while Internacional might have shown some extended inconsistencies since opening up the 2025 campaign, Roger Machado’s men have turned somewhat of a recent corner. Snatching a last-gasp 1-1 stalemate against Vasco last weekend, the Colorado have registered 10 points from their previous four Serie A appearances and they are enjoying what has become their most fruitful spell of the season. With their recent purple patch highlighted by a 2-1 victory away at Santos on July 24th, the former Gremio boss will also be excited by his side’s rugged success on home soil. Signing off their Copa Libertadores group stage adventure with a 2-1 win against domestic rivals Bahia on May 28th, Machado’s camp have suffered just a sole defeat from any of their previous nine straight showdowns in Porto Alegre. With that run stemming all the way back to the middle of April, Internacional should be confident of claiming a first-leg advantage in the early hours of Thursday.

As for the visitors, while Fluminense might have sprung a real Club World Cup upset earlier in the month as they clinched a famous semi-final spot, Renato Gaucho’s side have come crashing back down to earth in a worrying fashion. Watching their summer adventure come to an end thanks to a 2-0 loss against Premier League giants Chelsea on July 8th, the Tricolor have now remarkably lost all of their previous five appearances across all competitions and they look set for another stern examination here. Last seen putting in another worrying performance as they fell to a 3-1 drumming at the hands of Sao Paulo, Fluminense have shown some major defensive issues. Marking their return from Brazil’s summer break with a 2-0 defeat at home against Cruzeiro, Thursday’s guests have lost their five consecutive outings by an aggregate score of 10-2. It should also be highlighted, Gaucho’s men have failed to notch a domestic win on their travels over the past two months.

Bet: Internacional draw no bet against Fluminense 3/5 for Thursday’s Copa do Brasil tie @ 1xBet
