Two camps who are enjoying their own extended Championship flurries, Middlesbrough will welcome Norwich to the Riverside on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Middlesbrough might have watched Rob Edwards leave the Riverside back in November, the Reds are enjoying what has been a public Championship fairytale. Last seen putting in a dominant display as they stormed their way to an empathic 4-0 romp at home against Preston, Kim Hellberg’s men open this weekend’s fixtures sat in silver medal position and just three points adrift of skyrocketing their way to the top of the table. Leading the chase to secure a famous Premier League return in 2026, Boro will be looking to make another statement here. Including a 2-1 victory away at Stoke earlier in the month, the former Hammarby boss has seen his promotion contenders win each of their previous four consecutive Championship showdowns. Landing another remarkable 4-0 win against Southampton on January 4th, Saturday’s hosts have also found a major clinical edge in the final third. Including an action-packed 3-2 victory against West Brom a fortnight ago, Hellberg’s highflying squad have notched 13 goals on their four-match winning run.

As for the visitors, while Norwich might have found themselves at the heart of an infamous Championship crisis when opening up the 2025/26 campaign, the Canaries have come roaring back in a sensational fashion. Skyrocketing out of the drop zone, Philippe Clement’s resurgent squad will now have their sights set on trying to make up some ground in the top-half chase. Collecting a heavyweight scalp last weekend as they claimed a 2-1 victory at home against Championship leaders Coventry, the former Rangers boss finds the mood around Carrow Road at a red-hot high. Likewise, last seen on their travels storming their way to a sensational 5-0 romp against West Brom, Norwich have now won all of their previous four appearances across all competitions by an aggregate score of 14-3. Extending on their FA Cup adventure earlier in the month as they claimed a 5-1 victory against Walsall, Clement’s side have also notched nine goals in their previous three matchups outside of Norfolk.

Bet: Goal to be scored in both halves at Middlesbrough vs Norwich City 7/10 for Saturday’s Championship battle @ Pribet
