Competition: Europa League

Market: Nice draw no bet

Odds: 1/1 @ Pribet

Desperately searching for a maiden Europa League victory on Thursday evening, Nice will welcome Freiburg to the Allianz Riviera.

Starting with the hosts, enduring what has been a public Europa League crisis since getting their European adventure underway back in September, Nice are desperate to kickstart their charge for a knockout stage ticket. However, despite falling to a close-fought 1-0 loss away at reigning domestic and European champions PSG last week, the Eagles will be excited by a return to home soil here. Last seen at the Allianz Riviera signing off October with a stellar 2-0 victory against Lille, Franck Haise’s side should take some solace from their overall success in front of their own supporters. Including a pulsating 3-2 win against Lyon last month, Thursday’s hosts have lost just one of their previous six showdowns on home soil across all competitions. Likewise, winning back-to-back appearances at the Allianz Riviera by an aggregate score of 5-2, Nice should be smelling a potential opportunity in midweek. It should also be highlighted, continuing on from on last season, Haise’s camp have suffered just a pair of defeats in the south of France since the start of April.

As for the visitors, last seen in Europa League action landing a 2-0 victory at home against Utrecht, Freiburg have their sights firmly set on punching their own knockout stage ticket this year. However, despite already putting seven points on the board from their first three European appearances, Julian Schuster’s side have struggled to find any real stability on either side of October’s international break. Last seen over the weekend settling for a 0-0 stalemate away at Union Berlin, the German outfit have mustered just a pair of wins from any of their previous eight appearances across all competitions – a run that stems back to September 24th. Likewise, despite extending on their DFP Pokal adventure last month as they signed off October with a 3-1 win away at second-tier outfit Dusseldorf, that is the only away victory that Freiburg have claimed from their last five appearances away from the Europa-Park Stadion. Drawing a blank in three of their previous four matchups on the road, a home draw no bet can be found at appealing odds here.

Bet: Nice draw no bet against Freiburg 1/1 for Thursday’s Europa League battle @ Pribet
