Competition: Ykkosliiga

Market: TPS Turku win

Odds: 2/3 @ Pribet

Looking to climb to the top of the Ykkosliiga table on Wednesday afternoon, TPS Turku will welcome Klubi to the Veritas Stadion.

Starting with the hosts, while TPS Turku might have eventually fallen short in the promotion race last season, Ivan Pinol’s camp haven’t shown any signs of a hangover this time around. Despite eventually falling to an action-packed 4-2 loss away at KaPa last week, the mood in their camp should remain at a real high. Signing off June with a 4-2 victory against JaPS, the Tepsi know that they can climb to the top of the Ykkosliiga table here, the former Hammarby coach has seen his squad win each of their other six second-tier appearances – a run that stems back to a 2-2 stalemate against Lahti on May 21st. Holding a commanding buffer in silver medal position, Pinol’s side will also be excited by their extended success in the final third. Despite failing to notch a single clean sheet since the start of June, Wednesday’s hosts have registered 37 Ykkosliiga strikes so far this season and hold the best attacking tally in the division.

As for the visitors, while Klubi might have come flying out of the traps when making their Ykkosliiga return back in April, Aleksi Lalli’s side have largely plateaued over the past month. Suffering late heartbreak at home against Ekenas last time out as they eventually had to settle for a 2-2 stalemate, the Helsinki-based outfit have now recorded just a single victory from any of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Watching their Suomen Cup adventure come to a thumping end on June 24th as they fell to a 4-0 drumming against HJK, Wednesday’s guests have also shown some major issues at the back. Despite signing off June with an action-packed 3-2 win against SJK, Lalli’s side have conceded at least a pair of strikes in all of their previous six straight outings. Suffering back-to-back defeats outside of Helsinki for the first time since opening the 2025 campaign, they are pencilled in as a real underdog contender in midweek.

Bet: TPS Turku 2/3 to beat Klubi 04 in Wednesday’s Ykkosliiga contest @ Pribet
