Salvatore Bocchetti’s agent has stated his belief that the defender has all the right qualities to make a move from Rubin Kazan to Juventus.
The former Italy Under-21 international has played for the Russian side since joining from Genoa in 2010, but has been linked with a return to his homeland on a number of occasions.
Andrea D’Amico, his agent, said he believes that the 25-year-old’s experience would help him to be a success at the Turin giants.
“Bocchetti is young in age but he has a lot of experience and quality,” D’Amico told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He has played for the Under-21s in the finals of European Under-21 Championships, was called up for the final stage of the 2010 World Cup, faced Barcelona in the Champions League and has starred in the Russian league; he is also fluent in four to five languages.”
“This means that the boy is young but has maturity and a great capacity to adapt. He has the right personality to wear the great Juventus jersey.”
D’Amico also represents out-of-favour Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta, and has stated that the fringe forward is eyeing a permanent move to leave the Serie A giants this month.
“Iaquinta has expressed a desire to get away from Juve, he is not interested in a loan move,” he concluded.
Juventus are joint-top of Serie A with AC Milan on 34 points and take on Lecce next on Sunday after the winter break comes to an end.
