Celtic want Andy Robertson from Liverpool

Celtic are interested in signing Andy Robertson from Liverpool in the January transfer window, according to SportsBoom. Robertson is out of contract at defending Premier League champions Liverpool at the end of the 2025-26 campaign, with last season’s Scottish Premiership champions ready to offer him a way out of Anfield in January.

Liverpool are willing to let Robertson leave in the January transfer window. The Reds signed Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in the summer of 2025 with a view to making the Hungary international left-back the first-choice in his team.

Robertson has scored one goal in six appearances for Liverpool so far this season. During the 2024-25 campaign, the 31-year-old Scotland international left-back provided three assists in 45 matches in all competitions for Liverpool, who won the Premier League title in Arne Slot’s first season in charge.
