West Bromwich Albion claimed their first Championship win of 2026, beating promotion-chasing Hull City 3-0 to climb out of the relegation zone.

James Morrison’s side ended a run of 13 league games without victory to move up to 21st in the table with eight games remaining.

The Baggies took a first-half lead through Josh Maja, before fifth-place Hull were reduced to 10 men when Charlie Hughes was dismissed for a last-man foul on Jed Wallace.

West Brom capitalised on their numerical advantage after the break with Aune Heggebo doubling their lead, before Isaac Price wrapped up victory in stoppage time.
