Chelsea are keeping tabs on Nottingham Forest star James McAtee, according to The Daily Mail. Leeds United and Bournemouth are also said to be keen on a January deal for the former Manchester City youngster, who can play as a midfielder or as a winger.
McAtee joined Forest from Man City in the summer of 2025 for £30 million. The former England Under-21 international was expected to star for the Tricky Trees, but he is now under his third manager at the City Ground.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca worked with McAtee at Man City and is keen on a reunion with the 23-year-old at Stamford Bridge. McAtee has made only 10 appearances for Forest so far this season. Forest are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 18 matches, five points above the bottom three.
