Chelsea are interested in signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid in the summer of 2026, according to Fichajes. The Spanish news outlet has claimed that the Premier League club are planning to make an offer of €150 million, including €125 million fixed and an additional €25 million in variables.
Vinicius Junior is out of contract at Madrid in the summer of 2027. The two parties have been in talks over a new deal, but there is no agreement yet. If the Brazil international forward does not agree to a new contract by the end of the season, then speculation suggests that the Spanish and European powerhouse will sell him next summer.
Fichajes has reported: “Deep reflection is ongoing in Valdebebas. Real Madrid acknowledge Vinicius Jr’s value but also observe a strain that goes beyond the playing field.
“The club do not want to repeat past mistakes with disproportionate renewals.
“Therefore, a sale close to €150 million is starting to be seen as a rational option from an economic standpoint.
“Such an income would allow Real Madrid to strengthen several key positions and maintain their sustainability model without compromising immediate competitiveness.”
