Chelsea ready to bid €70m for Jules Kounde

Chelsea are interested in signing Jules Kounde from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Blues are ready to offer €70 million for the France international defender.

Barcelona, though, do not want to sell Kounde, who can operate as a centre-back or as a right-back. However, Chelsea are determined to secure the services of the 26-year-old and will go all out for him this summer. It remains to be seen if Barcelona are swayed by the big offer.

Kounde has been on the books of Barcelona since 2022 when he joined from Villa. The Frenchman has scored six goals and provided 18 assists in 132 matches in all competitions for the Blaugrana so far in his career. Kounde has scored three goals and given eight assists in 44 appearances for the Blaugrana so far this campaign.
