Manchester City are interested in signing Cole Palmer from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that Man City made an initial offer of £170 million for Palmer, but Chelsea rejected it.
Chelsea, who finished in the top five of the Premier League and won the Conference League last season, want £250 million for Palmer. Fichajes has reported that Man City are ready to pay that sum for the England international attacking midfielder. Man City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be a huge fan of the 23-year-old and wants him at the Etihad Stadium.
Palmer came through Man City’s youth academy and played a handful of matches for the Cityzens’ first team before switching to Chelsea in 2023. The youngster has been a star for Chelsea and helped the Blues win the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup this summer.
