Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Garnacho will leave Man Utd ‘for sure’, with Chelsea following the situation of the Argentina international central defender closely.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Don’t forget about the situation of Alejandro Garnacho, who remains a player appreciated by Chelsea.
“He remains a case to watch in this summer transfer window because Garnacho will leave Man Utd for sure. Chelsea are following the situation closely.”
Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim does not have any plans for Garnacho, who himself has told the Red Devils that he wishes to leave Old Trafford. It now remains to be seen if Man Utd and Chelsea can agree on a deal for the winger, who scored 11 goals and gave 10 assists in 58 appearances for the Red Devils last season.
