Chelsea want to keep Reece James

Chelsea do not want to sell Reece James anytime soon, according to TBR. Last season’s Conference League and this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup winners have been impressed with how James has done so far this season and believe that he will succeed at the club in the long run.

James has established himself in the Chelsea first team after coming through the Blues’ youth academy. However, there have been injury issues for the 25-year-old, who has managed to make just 21 appearances for the England national football team despite his huge talent.

The 25-year-old has made one start and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea so far this season. James made 12 starts and seven substitute appearances in the league for the Blues last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
