The agent of Botafogo defender Bruno Cortes said his client would welcome a move to Napoli.
The southern Italian giants have shortlisted the 24-year-old as a potential transfer target in January and agent Jorge Moraes told Goal.com on Friday that the full-back would be keen on making the switch to Serie A.
“The player is interested in Napoli, but at the moment there is no alternative in Italy or in Europe,” Moraes said.
“Botafogo are waiting for an offer from Napoli, as for the moment there is nothing really concrete and I have not talked to any of the Neapolitan officials.”
Cortes earned his first cap for Brazil in the 2-0 win over Argentina on September 28.
