Crystal Palace make their stance on Adam Wharton clear

Crystal Palace will want at least £100 million for Adam Wharton, according to TBR.

Journalist Graeme Bailey has reported that Palace, who won the FA Cup last season, will use the transfer fee that Arsenal paid West Ham United for Declan Rice to evaluate how much they would want for Wharton.

Bailey said: “Whilst not putting a £100m price-tag on Wharton’s head.

“Palace firmly believe they have a player on-par with anything in the world for his age, and I don’t think many would argue.

“Palace know when he does move he will command a significant fee.”

Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are among the clubs that are keen on Wharton, who has given six assists in 55 appearances for Palace so far in his career. Palace are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 13 points from eight games.
