Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is on the verge of signing for Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce on the final day of the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that a deal is in place for the Brazil international goalkeeper to switch to the Turkish giants, with Man City getting a modest fee for him.
Romano wrote on X: “BREAKING: Éderson to Fenerbahçe, here we go! Verbal agreement in place for Brazilian GK to join Fener.
“Fee around €13/14m to Man City for Éderson and as also personal terms are agreed with his agent Jorge Mendes and director Devin Özek.
“Up next: Donnarumma and City.”
Ederson has been on the books of Man City since 2017 when he joined from Benfica. The 32-year-old has won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice and the Champions League once with the Cityzens so far in his career.
