AC Milan attacker Stephan El Shaarawy says he is happy with life at San Siro and does not plan to leave the club in January.
The 19-year-old had been strongly linked with a move away from Milan after starting just one Serie A match since joining the club from Genoa in the off-season.
Genoa, Torino and Cologne had all been suggested as potential destinations for the player, but the Italy under-21 international has vowed to stay on and improve his game at Milan.
“A loan spell was in my thoughts, but even if I am not playing here, I am improving by training alongside great champions,” El Shaarawy said.
“I am being included in a lot of things, I am happy and I hope to stay here forever.”
