Enzo Fernandez has withdrawn from the Argentina squad due to a knee injury.
The Chelsea midfielder played 78 minutes of the world champions’ 1-0 win against Venezuela in a friendly on Friday, but will now miss their upcoming match against Puerto Rico.
Fernandez has started every Chelsea game so far this season, including their EFL Cup tie against League One Lincoln City.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals and provided one assist in seven Premier League games but has yet to make his mark in the Champions League.

Enzo Maresca’s side will travel to Nottingham Forest for their first match after the international break before home games against Ajax and Sunderland, with Fernandez aiming to be fit for those fixtures.
