Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea want new Moises Caicedo contract

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea want to hand Moises a new contract.

The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has revealed that Caicedo is happy at Chelsea, who won the UEFA Conference League last season and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the summer.

There have been reports in the Spanish media that Real Madrid are monitoring Caicedo, who has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League.

Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Chelsea want to talk with Caicedo [for contract extension].

“They want to reward him like they did with Palmer. But it’s not something they have to do in the next hours.

“Caicedo is very happy at the club, and this is the mutual feeling between Moises and Chelsea.”

Chelsea are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from 10 matches, as many as eight points behind leaders and London rivals Arsenal.
