Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has revealed that there is an agreement in place to sign Juventus striker Amauri.
Amauri said on Wednesday that he hoped a deal could be finalised quickly and Corvino has indicated that the 31-year-old will join Fiorentina.
“There is an agreement between Fiorentina and Juventus, the only things missing are the player’s signature and his medical,” Corvino confirmed.
“He had some personal problems, which forced him to be with his family.”
The former Palermo striker – who signed for Juventus in 2008 – will fill the void created by the departure of Alberto Gilardino to Genoa earlier this month.
