Udinese boss Francesco Guidolin is expecting a stern test from Cesena when the Serie A resumes on Saturday.
Each side has enjoyed a winter break of more than two weeks with Udinese particularly pleased over the festive period, given the fact their five-match unbeaten streak moved them to third in the league.
They will be red-hot favourites to beat the second-bottom Cesena on Saturday, but despite their opponents’ lowly position in the league, Guidolin knows it will not be easy.
“Well, Cesena is a skilled team, as everyone says,” Guidolin said.
“The team is made of many skilled players. Of course (Adrian) Mutu represents the most important player of this team, since he is a very talented player, but he is not the only one.”
“We know the skills, features and technical abilities of many players of Cesena and I’ve seen that recently the team has made a very good performance.”
Udinese do hold a perfect record against Cesena though, having won both clashes in the Serie A last season.
