Guinea international Sadio Diallo is reportedly close to joining Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes.
Diallo, who began his professional career at French Ligue 2 club Bastia, is set to link up with Rennes on a three-million-euro deal, French newspaper Corse Matin reported on Thursday.
The 20-year-old striker will leave Bastia for Rennes on December 20 after his new club’s last game of the year.
Rennes’ manager Frederic Antonetti, who is highly interested in the Guinean, has agreed to loan a player from his team to Bastia as part of Diallo’s contract.
Diallo has scored a total of 10 goals in 37 appearances at the Stade Armand Cesari which he joined last year.
He has also been capped four times with Guinea and will likely make the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations final list.
