Oliver Glasner has demanded “100% effort” from his players, as Crystal Palace look to continue their winning start to their Conference League campaign as they take on AEK Larnaca on Thursday.

Glasner’s side have lost just once in their last 21 games across all competitions, coming off the back of a 3-3 draw with Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

Palace will host European football at Selhurst Park for the first time in the club’s history, after kicking off their continental journey away against Dynamo Kyiv.

After registering a comfortable 2-0 victory in the competition last time out, the Londoners will be eager to pick up from where they left off.

“We’ve no injury concerns – all players are fit, all players look really good, and are in good shape, so we’re ready for our first home game in the Conference League,” Glasner said during his pre-match press conference.

“[We will pick] the best team, like always. We had five days between Bournemouth and Larnaca. The international [players] got two days off to recover, and we’ve prepared yesterday and today – short sessions, but the players look really sharp.

“We will play the best team [against Larnaca]. That makes sense for us, and [then] prepare for Arsenal.”

Palace remain undefeated in their three European games this season (W2 D1), and have kept a clean sheet in all three of those games.

“I want to see 100 percent effort, like in every single training session. I don’t expect everything to be perfect,” Glasner added.

“I told them it’s never a punishment, it’s just thinking we feel responsible to provide the best environment for every single player.”
