January 24th: Saturday’s European Accumulator – 6/1 Special, Betting Tips & Analysis

Watching Europe’s elite turn their attention back to domestic duties this weekend, we have a stacked schedule from across the continent.

Alongside five Premier League showdowns pencilled in on Saturday, we also have some heavyweight battles from the likes of Serie A, La Liga and the Bundesliga.

For those of you looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have taken a glance at some of the most eye-catching betting tips which are available.

Saturday, January 24th

BST 14:30 Bayern Munich vs Augsburg

Recapturing their Bundesliga crown at a canter last season, Bayern Munich have only continued on a record-breaking domestic romp this time around.

Once again romping their way at the top of the table, Vincent Kompany’s men open this weekend’s fixtures holding an 11-point buffer over the chasing pack and they have their sights set on completing a domestic silverware sweep in 2026.

Extending on their remarkable purple patch as they clinched a 2-0 Champions League win at home against Royale Union earlier in the week, the former Burnley boss has seen his superstar squad receive a fearsome reputation from across the continent.

In fact, the reigning Bundesliga champions have registered 50 points from their 18 top-flight showdowns this season and they are once again smelling a golden opportunity at the Allianz.

Not tasting a single Bundesliga defeat so far this year, Kompany’s high-flying squad will simply be looking to make another statement against their local rivals.

While some in Augsburg’s camp might have opened up the 2025/26 campaign with their sights set on mounting a genuine top-half charge, interim boss Manuel Baum has a major job on his hands in Bavaria.

Suffering a late collapse on home soil last time out as they eventually had to settle for a 2-2 stalemate against Freiburg, Saturday’s guests travel to the Allianz this weekend holding just a three-point buffer from slipping into the relegation play-off spot.

Getting the New Year underway with a woeful 4-0 drumming away at Borussia Monchengladbach, Augsburg have also won just a pair of their previous 13 appearances across all competitions – a rut that stems all the way back to October 4th.

Facing a real battle in the race to keep hold of their top-flight status in 2026, Augsburg couldn’t have asked for a tougher challenge when they travel to their bitter local rivals this weekend.

Tip: Bayern Munich to win both halves @ 4/5

15:00 Manchester City vs Wolves

Putting in what was an infamous Champions League performance earlier in the week as they fell to a 3-1 drumming away at Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt, Manchester City are in the midst of another public struggle.

Watching their Premier League title dreams take a major blow since opening the New Year, it has also been suggested that Pep Guardiola could be eyeing an Etihad exit come the summer.

Coming under even more scrutiny last weekend as they fell to a 2-0 Manchester derby defeat at Old Trafford, the former Barcelona boss has seen his squad register just a pair of wins from any of their previous seven appearances across all competitions.

However, pencilled in as a landslide contender on Saturday afternoon, it should be noted that Man City have not tasted a single domestic defeat in the blue half of Manchester since the end of August.

Likewise, Guardiola’s superstar squad have registered 26 points from their 11 Premier League showdowns at the Etihad so far this campaign.

While Wolves might have shown real signs of life over the past few weeks, the Old Gold already have one-foot firmly in the Championship.

Despite getting the New Year underway with a thumping 3-0 victory at home against fellow strugglers West Ham, that is the only Premier League win that Rob Edwards’ men have collected from any of their 22 top-flight appearances this season.

However, snatching a gritty 0-0 stalemate at home against Champions League outfit Newcastle last weekend, the former Middlesbrough boss should take some solace from his side’s recent defensive steel.

In fact, Wolves have shipped just a single strike in almost 350 minutes of Premier League action and they are enjoying what has been easily their most fruitful spell of the 2025/26 campaign.

Opening Saturday’s trip to Manchester sat 14 points adrift of safety, Edwards’ side will have little pressure on their shoulders and they will simply be looking to cause the Sky Blues some real headaches.

Tip: Hugo Bueno over 0.5 fouls @ 19/20

20:00 Villarreal vs Real Madrid

Watching Xabi Alonso leave the Bernabeu earlier in the month, Real Madrid have certainly been enduring a turbulent time behind the scenes.

However, despite watching their Copa del Rey adventure come to an infamous end on January 14th as they slumped to a 3-2 loss away at Segunda outfit Albacete, Los Blancos have come roaring back over the past week.

Putting in a rampant Champions League performance on Tuesday night as they stormed their way to an empathic 6-1 victory at home against Monaco, interim boss Alvaro Arbeloa will be dreaming of a repeat display here.

Knowing that they can leapfrog arch-rivals Barcelona and skyrocket their way to the top of the La Liga table, Real Madrid should be smelling a real opportunity when they travel to Castellon this weekend.

It should also be highlighted, Los Blancos have suffered just a single La Liga defeat in Castellon over the past 11 years.

While Villarreal might open this weekend’s fixtures sat in bronze medal position, the Yellow Submarine find themselves at the heart of a recent rut.

Suffering another public Champions League collapse earlier in the week as they eventually fell to a 2-1 loss at home against Ajax, Marcelino’s men will be bracing themselves for another monumental challenge here.

Likewise, last seen in La Liga action slumping to a 2-0 defeat away at Real Betis, Villarreal have lost five of their previous seven appearances across all competitions.

Likewise, watching their Copa del Rey adventure come to a shock end on December 17th as they were hit with a 2-1 loss away at Segunda outfit Racing Santander, Saturday’s hosts have also lost three of their last four showdowns in Castellon.

Suffering a 3-1 defeat when they met Madrid for their reverse La Liga battle on October 4th, Villarreal will be bracing themselves for a stern examination this weekend.

Tip: Real Madrid win @ 12/11
