Ivan Juric is relaxed over Ademola Lookman’s situation at Atalanta as his side prepare to visit Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League opener.
The Nigeria international is yet to play in Serie A this season, with the attacker training away from the first-team squad after trying to force a move through to Inter over the summer.
Lookman has been left out of the travelling squad to Paris, and Atalanta head coach Juric wants full focus on the test to come on Wednesday, as his team take on the reigning European champions.
“We are relaxed, we already spoke to him clearly, so we just want to focus on tomorrow’s match,” Juric said to Sky Sport Italia.
Marten de Roon, at least, says he would welcome back Lookman, but the Atalanta captain has not directly spoken to the winger over his intentions.
“I didn’t disturb him. I don’t want to use up too much energy over this situation. We are concentrated on the squad and the players who are here,” De Roon said.
“We are here and the door is always open.”
