Real Madrid will be looking to retake top spot in La Liga by securing a positive result against Sevilla on Saturday.
The Santiago Bernabeu outfit were replaced at the summit by Barcelona following Saturday’s 3-1 defeat against Pep Guardiola’s side in the Clasico.
However, Madrid have the chance to leapfrog their arch-rivals at the weekend, and playmaker Kaka says his side is targeting at least one point from the match at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
“We are going to Sevilla eager to take back top place in the table,” he said.
The Brazil international also hailed the importance of his side’s 2-0 Copa del Rey victory against Ponferradina following the Clasico defeat.
“After losing against Barca, defeating Ponferradina was an important achievement,” Kaka said.
