Kostas Tsimikas could return to Liverpool

Kostas Tsimikas could return to Liverpool from AS Roma in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. Tsimikas joined Roma on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool in the summer of 2025, but the Greece international left-back could return to Anfield earlier than expected.

Tsimikas has failed to make the desired impact at Roma, who are ready to part ways with him and send him back to Liverpool. The defending Premier League champions are in the process of selling Andy Robertson to Tottenham Hotspur, so they will need a replacement.

Milos Kerkez is the number one left-back at Liverpool at the moment, with Robertson his back-up. The Scottish left-back is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season, so the Reds would get some transfer fee for him. Liverpool are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 36 points from 23 matches.
