Arsenal will not sell Leandro Trossard in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that a U-turn has been made regarding the Belgian winger, who is now set to remain part of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s squad for next season.
The report has claimed that Trossard has been in talks over a new contract with Arsenal since the turn of the year. The winger was initially offered an extension on his current terms, but without a pay increase – something that caused a temporary stall in negotiations. However, talks have since resumed and a compromise is close to being finalised.
Arsenal have been very active in the summer transfer window so far and have made a number of signings, including Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyokeres. The Gunners are aiming to win the Premier League title next season.
