Leeds United are on the verge of getting a deal done for Facundo Buonanotte, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has reported on X that Chelsea will terminate the loan deal for Buonanotte, who will move to Leeds.
Romano said: “EXCLUSIVE: Leeds United reach verbal agreement to sign Facundo Buonanotte!
“Chelsea to interrupt loan move from Brighton, leaving #CFC to return to #BHAFC and then join Leeds.
“Move to #LUFC will be on loan until the end of the season. Here we go, soon.”
Romano added: “Facu Buonanotte will undergo his medical at Leeds United soon as it’s all approved also by Chelsea and Brighton.
“Exclusive story, confirmed.”
Leeds are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 22 points from 21 matches, eight points clear of the bottom three.
