Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga clash with Hamburg has been postponed due to concerns over weather conditions.

The match at the Volksparkstadion was due to take place on Tuesday but has been pushed back, with the new date for the fixture not yet announced.

Two other games in the German top-flight were also called off over the weekend due to heavy snowfall and freezing conditions.

“The Bundesliga fixture ‌between HSV and Bayer 04 has been called off due to weather-related safety concerns at Volksparkstadion,” Leverkusen posted on X.

“We’ll keep you updated on the new date.”

Leverkusen, who suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Stuttgart last time out, sit fourth in the Bundesliga and take on Hoffenheim on Saturday, while Hamburg, 13th in the table, host Borussia Monchengladbach.
