Paris Saint-Germain scored three second-half goals as they beat Auxerre 3-2 in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
After three defeats in a row, PSG manager Antoine Kombouare was under pressure and at half-time, things were not looking good for the Frenchman.
It was 0-0 and a struggling Auxerre were containing a strong PSG line-up.
But Kombouare’s men came out firing in the second half and scored quickly through Christophe Jallet.
Dennis Oliech netted a quick response for Auxerre and with 15 minutes to play the home crowd at the Parc des Princes were getting frustrated.
Goals from Jeremy Menez and Nene, the latter coming from the penalty spot, in a five minute spell handed PSG a 3-1 lead, but Dariusz Dudka’s late goal for the losers meant they had to suffer through a nervy finish.
PSG regained second spot on the table with the win, but remain three points behind surprise leaders Montpellier.
Bordeaux also won on Sunday, recording a 2-0 home success over Nancy at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas.
Jaroslav Plasil scored inside the first minute and he turned provider early in the second half for Henrique to net the all-important second goal.
