Liverpool confident of signing Dean Huijsen

Liverpool are confident of signing Dean Huijsen from Premier League rivals Bournemouth in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The Premier League leaders have held positive talks with the centre-back’s agents and believe that they would be able to strike a deal to bring the Spain international to Anfield this summer.

“GMS sources have been informed that Liverpool have already made their own initial pitch to Huijsen’s representatives, having seen him seamlessly adjust to becoming a regular starter in the Premier League, but they are having to play the waiting game as their target is not planning to rush into making a final decision on his future,” states the report.

However, Chelsea are still in the race for Huijsen, who joined Bournemouth from Serie A giants Juventus in the summer of 2024. The defender himself is said to be ready to leave the Cherries and move onto a bigger club.
